Example output

One filing. One thing you might miss.

A real filing brief turns a headline number into a readable observation—and keeps the source trail beside it. This is the kind of movement that is easy to miss when you only scan the top line.

04 · FAQ

Quick answers.

Where does Verif-AI get its data?

Directly from the UK Companies House public filings API and the published accounts. Every number on every chart is cited back to the line in the source filing — so when a stakeholder asks "where did this come from?" the answer is one click away.

How fresh is the information?

Filings are pulled live each time you run a report. If you add a company to your watchlist, we re-check every hour and email you the moment a new filing lands.

What if a company only files dormant accounts?

You'll see the dormant flag and a thinner filing brief — every search tells you up-front when the public record has little to analyse, before you pay.

Do you cover sole traders or partnerships?

No — Verif-AI is built on Companies House data, which only covers incorporated UK entities (Ltd, PLC, LLP, charities). Sole traders don't register with CH so there's nothing for us to read.

Can I pull reports via API?

Yes — the same data is available headless via a REST API with X-API-Key auth. See the developer page.
